Stacy Stephens Levy received her Masters of Science and Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, UNC-CH. While receiving her M.S., Stacy was the recipient of a low–incidence federal training grant which began her passion for working with individuals who have the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Stacy holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association. She participates in the Special Interest Division 1 of ASHA (Language Learning and Education) and SpellTalk Discussion Group. She is one of the two RDI® Certified Consultants in the state of Louisiana. Stacy is also the Assistant Chair of the Opening Doors for Autism Junior League Committee.
After completing her graduate work in North Carolina, Stacy moved to Atlanta, GA and worked 6 years in the Fulton School System; Three years performing speech therapy in self–contained classrooms devoted to children with autism and significant developmental delay. The other three years she worked as a self–contained special education teacher of a class for children with significant language impairments. She was awarded River Eves Teacher of the Year and Fulton County Elementary School Teacher of the Year in 2005.
Relocating to Baton Rouge, LA brought even more opportunities for Stacy to further her career and continue to fulfill her passion for working with children. She has worked at NeuroTherapy Specialists, Inc. since 2006 where she currently is the Director of the Speech–Language Department and performs out-patient pediatric speech–language therapy for children ranging from birth to 21 years of age. Working alongside of physical and occupational therapists continues to broaden Stacy's knowledge of overall child development.
Stacy plans to advocate for and spread hope to families coping with the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. She works hard to demonstrate that there is hope and there is help. She hopes that she can be the one to provide it to you.

Connecting for Communication, L.L.C. was established in 2008. The mission is to provide Relationship Development Intervention® for families who have a family member diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder across the age span.
We believe that working hand–in–hand with families who have children with special needs is the most powerful and rewarding part of their careers. Providing hope, professional guidance, and making objective differences to the lives of these children and their families are their goals.
We know we have been successful in meeting our goals if you:
- See objective progress toward individualized goals
- Feel competent in your parenting roles
- Recognize and are able to expand upon the special bond between you and your child while maintaining realistic boundaries without conflict
- Notice qualitative improvements in your child's interactions and communication
- Feel like you are practicing “good parenting” and not “more therapy”
Connecting for Communication, L.L.C. provides autism treatment using RDI® to families across the Gulf South in addition to speech–language therapy for children ages birth to 21 years.
